The 2 Dimensional Barcode
What we are achieving with the Instant Voucher System is unique, it is not possible with other voucher redemption systems.
- The system is LIVE! Every voucher is checked against the 2nDimension database and this ensures vouchers are valid, but also allows promoters to change their properties without changing the physical voucher itself. Promotions can be changed or extended at the flick of a switch.
- 2 Dimensional codes can be read EASILY and directly from another mobile or printed barcode, absolutely no number punching is required. There is no scope for error.
- 2D barcodes are superior to normal, linear barcodes. This is because there are billions and billions of unique combinations…48,661,191,875,666,900,000 to be precise… This means we don’t need to reuse barcodes and therefore our promotional data collection is far more in depth.
- The system is truly mobile. We are, after all, using mobile telephones instead of barcode scanners and/or land line connections. As a result, our offer could be applied in the middle of a field as easily as within a store.
- 2nDimension can help companies lower their environmental footprint. For example, utility bills can be processed with a single “credit card style” code per customer, meaning an end to paper and postage.
- Within each barcode is a very complex checking system which ensures that barcodes cannot be created fraudulently. Due to the instant verification and personalisation of each barcode we are also confident that voucher misredemption will be a thing of the past…the system is so safe – it’s been adopted by a Mexican bank!
